NARGIZIAN DESIGN SERIES

The Nargizian Design Series (NDS) is a contemporary collection of 100-knot silk blended rugs. Blending is the labor-intensive process of hand spinning our Tibetan wool and silk together prior to the start of weaving. The NDS is made with the finest hand carded, hand spun Tibetan wools available. We also use the finest Swiss dyes in the world.

In his first exposure to contemporary rug design, renowned textiles designer, Daniel de Vrede is responsible for creating the designs and coloration in this collection. The collection received praise in 2002’s Atlanta Winter Market when our “Incognita” design was awarded “Best Contemporary Design for 2002”.
